When you choose a low carb diet, you need to watch the amount of carbs in everything you eat. This means you need to have a table, notebook, or computer to keep track of the foods you eat every day when you start. Once you know the foods you can eat, you may not feel the need to keep track of what you eat. Foods that tend to be high in carbohydrates include breads, applesauce, sweets, sodas, lattes, ice cream, and many other foods. Most individuals can survive off forty-six grams of carbohydrates or less during a low carb diet.

If you have any questions about a low carb diet you are on you should ask your doctor. Your doctor will help you figure out the best diet for you.
